ABOUT US

We are Taking Small Steps to Make Earth Better Planet

*In 1994, African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) was founded as a response to the Rwandan genocide and the civil and political unrest within Burundi and the DR Congo.

Rev. Dr. Celestin Musekura survived the Rwandan Genocide and was left with a burden and calling to train and equip servant leaders in Africa while promoting inner healing and reconciliation.

Rev. Dr. Celestin recognized the critical need to empower leaders within communities to understand the value of servant leadership, biblical peacebuilding, healing, forgiveness, reconciliation, and restorative justice.

TOGETHER WE DEVELOP SERVANT LEADERS

Over the past many years, ALARM has succeeded in equipping servant leaders of all backgrounds and professions to advocate for peace, justice, and reconciliation while transforming communities.

As the years have progressed, ALARM has expanded into the US and 8 African countries. Currently ALARM has registered offices in Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and the US.
ALARM Africa has relied on the support of the ALARM US and ALARM UK offices to raise partners and support for the projects and programs within Africa.
